Rain Plate
閃躲、濕黏、陰冷的負面感受形塑我們與雨天相關的記憶，但自然所蘊含姿態是多變而感性的，環境所產生的光影變化是使生活空間細膩的重要元素，其中也包括雨水。Rain Plate 是運用透明片清透的特性，搭配燈光投射的室內燈具，使雨水流動、落下時的軌跡，形成具有層次感的動態光影效果，是能帶給人們平靜感受的「雨的景色」。晴天時，Rain Plate是室內靜態的氣氛裝置燈。到了雨天，Rain Plate透過管線把室外的雨水引入室內，從基座中流出，透明片因雨水一層一層緩緩落下而輕輕晃動，地面投射雨水落下過程的影子，而造成動態效果。
Rain Plate 使雨水的流動成為平靜的光影氛圍，進而重塑雨天的記憶。
Owing to getting wet, feeling inconvenient and taking shelter always happen on each of us in rainy day, we will associate the rain with negative habitually.In other way, rain is playing a role when we talk about Nature is variable and lighting changes around us.
Rain Plate attempts to imitate and bring the scene of rainy day, the lighting and the movement of water, into our room by combining acrylic and lighting fixtures.In sunny days, Rain Plate is a lighting fixture. In rainy days, pipes will lead the rain into the base of Rain Plate. The acrylic swaying slightly when rain dropping on piece by piece and shadowing on the ground.Rain Plate also as a teller even in the room couldn’t see it rains or not, such as basement or room without outside view.
Rain Plate remodels the impression of rainy day and bring it into your life in gentle way.
